Association of Professional Gardeners

The Association of Professional Gardeners (A.P.G) is a

non-profit organization dedicated to the development and

support of Professional Gardeners. Our mission is to

promote and develop the business of professional

gardening, establish standards that increase the integrity of

the business, provide networking opportunities between

members and coordinate resources for professionally 

employed gardeners.  

APG will help you:

• Find the right gardener for your home or business 

Who is a Professional Gardener?

• An experienced horticulturist who is paid for gardening services, including: coaching, consulting, designing, planning, installing, maintaining and/or managing.
• A knowledgeable caretaker of clients' perennials, shrubs, trees and annuals.
• A garden services provider who uses continuing education to stay current regarding the latest garden best practices.

What is the backbone of APG?

• Established in 1999.
• Welcomes novice to experienced gardeners.
• Members represent all phases of gardening.
• Businesses provide diverse talents, skills and services from outdoor lighting to interiorscapes.
